Logan was invited by his friends to go ride bikes at the park, but he didn’t know how to so he was unable to join them.

Determined to join his friends, Logan asked his dad for help to learn how to ride his bike.

Logan put on his helmet, got onto his bike and started to push down on the front pedal, only to find himself falling to the ground.

After his fall, Logan felt very frustrated. He wondered if he would ever learn how to ride his bike and was ready to give up.

Logan’s parents hugged him and encouraged him to try again. They explained that it takes practice to learn something new and that if he continued to try he would be riding his bike with his friends in no time.

Logan got back on his bike with his parents by his side. He practiced riding in a safe, open space. Every time he fell, he remembered his parents' words of encouragement. And with every attempt, his balance improved.

Logan learned to be patient with himself, and remained determined that he was going to ride his bike!

With every attempt, Logan began to feel more confident on his bike. He started riding a little further each time.

His hard work was paying off and he was looking forward to joining his friends at the park.

Before Logan knew it, he was suddenly riding his bike without falling, and he found that he could ride very fast! Logan pedaled as fast as he could to catch up with his friends.
