Once upon a time, in a little village, there lived a boy named Hella. Hella was eight years old and had long brown hair. He had a very important job - he had to watch over the village sheep as they grazed on the hillside. But Hella was easily bored.
One sunny day, Hella had an idea to entertain himself. He decided to play a trick on the villagers. He stood on the hillside and shouted, 'Wolf! Wolf! The wolf is chasing the sheep!'
Hearing the cry, the villagers became worried. They quickly dropped what they were doing and hurried up the hill to protect the sheep. But when they reached the top, they saw no wolf. Hella couldn't help but giggle at their puzzled faces.
The villagers were not happy. They scolded Hella and said, 'Don't scream wolf when there is no wolf, boy! It's not a funny joke.' Disappointed, they went back down the hill.
But Hella couldn't resist playing another trick. A few days later, he cried out once again, 'Wolf! Wolf! The wolf is chasing the sheep!' The villagers, remembering the previous incident, rushed up the hill to save the sheep.
To Hella's amusement, there was no wolf to be seen. The villagers were frustrated and told Hella, 'Save your frightened cry for when there really is a wolf! Don't cry 'wolf' when there is no wolf!' But Hella just grinned mischievously.
One evening, while Hella was watching the sheep, a real wolf appeared! This time, Hella was genuinely scared. He cried out, 'Wolf! Wolf! Help!' But this time, when the villagers heard his cry, they didn't come running.
Hella realized his mistake. The villagers no longer trusted his cries for help. The wolf chased away many sheep that day, and Hella felt guilty. From that day forward, Hella understood the importance of honesty and not playing tricks. He became a responsible shepherd and the villagers forgave him for his past mischief.
