Once upon a time, in a vast, twinkling night sky, there was a tiny star named Luna. She wasn’t the biggest or the brightest star in the galaxy, but she had the warmest golden glow and a heart full of curiosity. Luna loved hearing stories about the big stars who shone over important places like castles, forests, and oceans. She often wondered, 'Will I ever get to shine over something special too?' Her dream was to find her own special place.
One night, as the moon rose high, a soft voice called out from far below. It was a little boy named Milo who lived in a small village. He was standing by his window, whispering to the stars, 'I’m scared of the dark. I wish someone would keep me company.' Luna’s heart fluttered. 'Maybe I can help!' she thought.
But when she looked around, she saw the big stars laughing. 'You’re too small, Luna,' said one. 'You don’t shine bright enough,' said another. But Luna didn’t let that stop her. She took a deep breath and whispered to herself, 'I may be little, but I’m brave.'
With a whoosh of stardust, she leapt across the sky, weaving her way past shooting stars and fluffy clouds, until she found herself twinkling right above Milo’s house. Milo looked up, and his eyes sparkled with wonder. 'Wow,' he said softly. 'You’re the prettiest little star I’ve ever seen.' From that night on, Luna became Milo’s special star.
