Opie and Calvin were playing in the jungle. They loved searching for bugs with their sticks. Opie found a big, shiny beetle and showed it to Calvin. Calvin felt jealous because he hadn't found any big bugs. He decided to whack Opie with his stick.

The Jungle Adventure

Opie started to cry and ran to their mama chimpanzee. She was very upset when she heard what happened. Mama chimpanzee put both Opie and Calvin in time out. They sat quietly, thinking about what they had done. Calvin felt sorry for hurting his brother.

Trouble with Sticks

Later in the day, Mama chimpanzee was preparing dinner. She reminded the boys to always be kind to each other. Opie and Calvin apologized and promised to play nicely. Mama chimpanzee was pleased and started to cook their favorite meal. The boys waited patiently, feeling happy again.

A Lesson Learned

While Mama chimpanzee was busy, Opie saw a bunch of bananas. He really wanted one, but he knew he should wait. Opie decided to sneak and grab a banana when Mama wasn't looking. Calvin saw him and whispered, 'Don't do it, Opie!' Opie stopped and thought about what Mama had said about being good.

The Sneaky Snack

Older, bigger brother chimpanzee.  He wears a yellow shirt and jean shorts

Calvin

Opie and Calvin are playing in the jungle.  They search for bugs with sticks til Calvin sees that Opie found a bigger bug. He gets jealous and whacks Opie with his stick. Opie goes crying to their mama chimpanzee. She puts them in time out. Later in the day, while she is preparing their dinner, Opie spots some bananas that he wants to eat. He sneaks to get one while his mom isnt looking.
