King Kansa trembled as the divine voice prophesied his doom. His sister Devaki's eighth child would end his reign. Fearing his fate, Kansa imprisoned Devaki and her husband Vasudeva.

When Krishna was born at midnight, a miraculous light filled the prison. The chains binding Vasudeva fell away by themselves. The prison doors swung open while the guards slept deeply.

Vasudeva carried baby Krishna in a basket through the stormy night. The raging Yamuna River parted to make way for them. Sheshnag, the divine serpent, shielded the baby from rain with his hoods.

Krishna grew up safely in Gokul, far from Kansa's reach. He filled the village with joy and performed many miracles. Years later, he returned to Mathura to face Kansa. The prophecy was fulfilled as Krishna ended the tyrant's cruel reign.
